Alban Hill Nurseries
There has been a plant nursery on this site for two decades. It was purchased in 2008 and has been independently run ever since. Vast improvements have been made over the years to include a covered seasonal bedding area, a dedicated tunnel for shade dwelling plants and paved areas.
The team have a wealth of horticultural knowledge should you require assistance, the advice is ALWAYS free!
In July 2012, the Jubilee Coffee Shop opened serving a range of home-made cakes, snacks and speciality coffees and teas. As the popularity increased, a lunch time menu was introduced offering a range of salads and hot meals, all produced by ourselves. Look out for our popular themed fortnights! Alban Hill Nurseries prides itself on the fact it can choose what it wants to grow & sell allowing for a greater range compared to the larger garden centre groups. The plants we buy in from selected growers are mainly UK growers, sometimes, however, we do buy from Europe.
