Glan y Wern - The Cottage in Wales
Glan y Wern is a spacious self catering holiday cottage in North Wales. We have two bedrooms (one en suite), a comfortable lounge with log burner, well equipped kitchen diner, an enclosed garden and a sunny patio with barbecue which overlooks open fields. Within a two minute stroll are two historic inns both serving fantastic food if you don't want to cook while on holiday.
We have some of the best mountain biking trails and on road cycling routes in North Wales close by. Secure outbuilding for bike storage.
Llanarmon Dyffryn Ceiriog is the perfect holiday destination for exploring the beautiful area of North Wales. Within a short drive you can reach the popular tourist destinations of Llangollen, Bala and Betws-y-Coed or easily reach the Snowdonia National Park, the Clwydian range or the rolling hills of Mid Wales. Or you can stay in the valley and explore some of the most beautiful scenery in North Wales.
Review - "Nice cottage in a pretty village over the hill from Llangollen. We did lots of on-road and MTB riding when here. There was somewhere secure to store the bikes and bike washing facilities. And after a hard days riding, there are two fantastic pubs about two minutes walk. All in all, highly recommended. Cottage was done to a really nice standard."
