Craigieburn guest house

This is certainly a cyclist friendly guest house (the proprietors are Dutch!).  Not just the fact it's a cyclist size breakfast with room from just £28 per night but also becuase they are helpful in other ways.  On my first visit my bike was wheeled into a shed for me for security and wheeled out for me in the morning.  On my second visit the shed had been demolished pending a new one so it had to be locked outside  It was safe enough well away from the road but as it rained overnight I was offered an old towel to wipe the saddle.

Dunoon is a good base for extensive touring of the Cowal penninsual and the guest house is in a nice part of the town, overlooking the Clyde to Gourock on the opposite side.  You might have a sea view from your room.
