As you travel northwards along the A99 from Wick, the John o' Groats Guest House is the first property you come to on arriving in John o' Groats. Travelling from Thurso or from the Gills Bay Ferry, along the A836, turn right on reaching the end of the road onto the A99. The John o' Groats Guest House is the last property on the right-hand side (about 1 mile).
Overlooking the Pentland Firth and the Orkney Islands, the Guest House is within easy reach of all car and passenger ferries to Orkney, close to the Royal holiday home of the Castle of Mey and also the hugely impressive Duncansby Stacks.
