The Running Horses
The Running Horses is a perfect country inn at the heart of picturesque Mickleham village in the Surrey hills. Step inside and you’ll discover one of the most charming places to eat in Surrey. Dating back to the 16th century, it was once a coaching house. You’ll still find wonderful home-cooked British food, made with the freshest ingredients, accompanied by a wine list to compare with the top restaurants. You’re guaranteed a warm welcome from the moment you enter the cosy bar with its roaring log fire. There is a small private function room available for small parties and five beautifully, comfortable en suite rooms on offer if you wish to stay the night. The perfect place to stop off for lunch after a long cycle to Box Hill. There are 6 wonderfully comfy en-suite rooms, ideal for a relaxing stay after a day of cycling. The Running Horses also has a bike store, to keep your bike safe when you stay.
