In association with Adventure Northumberland. Located in the perfect place to explore Northumberland by bike, Tomlinson's caters for both the committed cyclist and those new to the sport. We have a fleet of mountain bikes available to hire for groups and individuals who want to experience the miles of off-road cycling tracks starting just a stone's throw from our front door, or who just fancy a leisurely ride around the area. We also provide experienced instructors to lead cycle groups of all ages. Please contact us for more details. The local area is criss-crossed with cycle paths and walking trails, with Rothbury being developed as Northumberland National Park's cycling hub. An off-road cycle route between the town and Thropton is being built by transport charity Sustrans and there are plans to turn the disused Rothbury to Morpeth rail track into a further cycle path. Established off road cycling and walking trails already run for miles through nearby Simonside, Harwood, Thrunton, Alwinton and the Cheviots, making Tomlinson's a hugely popular centre to start your adventure.
