Vicarage Farm Holiday and Retreat Centre
Vicarage Farm Holiday Cottages are in the heart of the Peak District National Park. The cottages, built in 1637, are set in 6 acres of rolling countryside, woodland and delightfully landscaped gardens. They enjoy uninterrupted views from the grounds with miles of footpaths, dry stone walls and quiet country lanes.
The holiday cottages are set in the ancient farming hamlet of Wheston with its medieval cross. The hamlet is a mile from the village of Tideswell, which has an array of shops, cafés and amenities as well as the beautiful Cathedral of the Peak. Wheston is just a short drive from Bakewell, Buxton and Chatsworth.
We have an all-weather tennis court, playground and games room with pool, table tennis and football tables plus Wendy house, games and toys. Two cottages have saunas and log fires and all are comfortable and welcoming all year round. We also have laundry facilities on site. Our new cottage, Hope Cross, is across the road from our other buildings and is specifically designed for guests with access needs and disabilities. Maximum capacity for dining together is 15.

Cycling UK is the national cycling charity. We promote all forms of cycling, inspiring people of all ages, backgrounds and abilities to discover the joys of cycling. As well as supporting our members, we also play a prominent campaigning role, fighting to defend cyclists’ rights for safer roads, better infrastructure and legal protection.
